Benefits of Coconut Oil for Hair Health
1. Coconut Oil Moisturizes Hair:
Coconut oil is an excellent natural moisturizer for the hair. It can penetrate the hair shaft, reducing protein loss and keeping the hair strands well-hydrated. Dry, brittle hair is more prone to breakage, and keeping it moisturized can help maintain its length.
2. Coconut Oil Strengthens Hair:
The fatty acids in coconut oil, particularly lauric acid, can help strengthen hair and reduce hair breakage. Stronger, healthier hair is less likely to break and may appear to grow faster.
3. Coconut Oil Helps for a Healthy Scalp:
A healthy scalp is essential for hair growth. Coconut oil may have mild antibacterial and antifungal properties, which can help maintain a clean and healthy scalp, promoting optimal conditions for hair growth.
4. Coconut Oil Reduces Damage:
Applying coconut oil to your hair before washing can help reduce damage caused by the mechanical stress of combing or brushing. It can also act as a protective barrier against environmental damage.
5. Coconut Oil Improves Hair Texture:
Regular use of coconut oil may result in improved hair texture, making your hair look healthier and thicker.

WHAT THE GENSHIN BOYS SMELL LIKE
Including: Albedo, Alhaitham, Ayato, Baizhu, Cyno, Dainsleif, Diluc, Freminet, Gaming, Gorou, Heizou, Itto, Kaeya, Kaveh, Kazuha, Lyney, Neuvillette, Tartaglia, Thoma, Tighnari, Venti, Wanderer, Wriothesley, Xiao, Zhongli
Notes: These are just personal headcanons, don't take these too seriously🥴 Enjoy!!💛
ALBEDO
• I think he smells like nothing most of the time
• You only feel cold air when you stand next to him because he's in Dragonspine a lot
• Subtle notes of charcoal which he uses as an art tool or of strong chemicals cling onto him on some days
ALHAITHAM
• I also don't think he smells like anything on most days, maybe only like the fresh clothes he's wearing
• Though he has a faint scent of coconut to him. It could be the shampoo or the skin care products he's using, but it's mostly because of his body lotion
AYATO
• His hair always smells like the shampoo he uses. So sugary and sweet, like vanilla cake or bubblegum
• But for his body and clothes he uses expensive clean and powdery fragrances
• Quite the combo, I must say💀 Strange, just like his taste in food
BAIZHU
• Smells like expensive bar soap. A mix of aloe vera and ginger
• Also smells kinda sour because of the herbs he works with
CYNO
• Smells like pure white musk which smells great
• But it can be quite intense on some days when he decides to go overboard with his sprays
• He's sweating at the end of the day but the smell is subtle
DAINSLEIF
• He smells like the environment he was in. Often it's nature. Every now and then he smells like the rain too
• Also smells kinda dusty, like that basement smell you know? People either love it or hate it.
DILUC
• He smells warm and homely. Notes of cedar, sandalwood, or cinnamon
• But you'd have to stand really close to him to smell anything, his coat kinda dulls the scent
• Of course, he always smells like the vineyard and grapes during the harvest
FREMINET
• Smells fresh like bar soap. It's almost unnoticeable. It has a light scent of baby powder
• His clothes smell like chamomile because of the fabric softener he uses
GAMING
• This fella smells like cocoa butter because he uses it as body lotion
• I can also imagine that he carries an aroma of caramel/burnt sugar
• Bro eats so much dim sum, he often smells like the food he ate
GOROU
• I don't think he has a particular scent
• But his home/room smells like cinnamon, cloves, and oranges. The scent kinda rubs off on him
HEIZOU
• He wears body mists with floral notes. His favorites are maybe roses, lavender, or honeysuckle
• He likes to keep a little lavender sachet in his closet, so his clothes also smell like flowers
ITTO
• Idk, he probably smells like someone who's outside a lot. He has that outside smell, you know what I mean?
• He probably wears a musky fragrance, but it usually mixes with his sweat
KAEYA
• My bro is using all sorts of Arabian oils and fragrances. He has some with the notes of oud, musk, amber, and much more. Kaeya has a whole collection
• He smells divine and he knows it because people compliment him every day
• But like Venti, he drinks a lot, so his scent mixes with the wine odor
KAVEH
• Kaveh likes to wear fruity, tropical fragrances because he's always craving chilled fruits, especially on days that are hotter than usual.
• They also remind him of the days on which he sat in front of his house with his parents and ate watermelons
• Also has an alcohol odor sometimes like his fellas in Mondstadt
KAZUHA
• He uses a fabric softener because he likes his clothes to be extra comfortable. That's why he often smells like fresh laundry
• Because he spends a lot of his free time in nature, he probably also smells like grass or firewood
LYNEY
• Berries. He always smells like berries.
• He won't tell you what his secret is
• You guess every product he uses has the scent of berries. His bodywash, his shampoo, his body lotion, his deodorant, his fabric softener, the candle in his room, his lip balm, etc. Even his toothpaste...
NEUVILLETTE
• This sir smells like the ocean. Like the sea breeze. Like water itself.
• Yeah, he likes expensive-smelling aquatic colognes. Though occasionally he also uses citrusy perfumes
TARTAGLIA
• Something tells me that he either smells like expensive aquatic fragrances
• Or he smells like an old lady mixed with the aroma of nature, grass, firewood, animals, etc.
THOMA
• He probably likes to wear sweet scents like tonka bean and honey
• Or even perfumes with fruity notes like peach or pear
TIGHNARI
• You can't tell me this guy doesn't smell like herbs, plants, flowers and stuff
• Idk, when I think of him I think of eucalyptus
VENTI
• He would smell quite fresh and idk, breezy?
• Like a fresh breath of air in spring if you know what I mean
• But since he's drunk most of the time the overbearing odor of wine sticks to him
WANDERER
• Nahida gifted him a citrus perfume and he has been using it ever since
• He likes bitter smells too, so he bought himself bitter perfumes with bergamot, bitter orange, and grapefruit notes
WRIOTHESLEY
• I think he wears a perfume which has woody, earthy notes. Sometimes he has a fresh minty smell to him too
• When he fights the scents obviously mix with his sweat
• I also think a light scent of motor oil sticks to him
XIAO
• Most of the days he smells literally like nothing, or sweat. It's not overbearing though
• But there are some days on which he smells super sweet, like vanilla, cotton candy, a baked treat or something
• It's either because he ate those things or because he has body sprays with these scents. He won't tell you
ZHONGLI
• If you're standing close to him, you'll smell his pleasant cologne scent
• It could be musky or woody, but he usually wears floral scents like osmanthus
• His scent mixes with the aroma of tea leaves or herbs which he gets from wandering in the market and drinking tea the whole day

Supernatural Taste and Smell Headcanons
I included a lot of characters (I think 24?), but if your fave didn't make the cut, just send me an ask!
Dean
Smell: Leather, cinnamon, and the kind of musk that only comes from an axe body spray, cause you know what man only buys whatever is quick and easy at the gas station. He’d also smell like gasoline.
Taste: Malty like beer, but sweet in the way bbq sauce is sweet.
Sam
Smell: I just feel like (when he’d not hunting) he smells clean, ya know? Citrusy and woody, kind of like D&G light blue, with undertones of like a ‘fresh’ scented fabric softener.
Taste: Kind of fruity but tart, like a berry smoothie. Also just a little bit of like garlic, or mustard.
John
Smell: That man is a smoker, and you can’t tell me otherwise – at least later in life, way after the marines, and losing Mary. He always has a stale smoke smell on his clothes and lips. I recon he uses old spice or similar as an aftershave, so also like cloves/sage.
Taste: Again smoky, ashy, but also oaky and malty like bourbon.
Mary
Smell: Citrusy like Sam but darker, smokier (joke not intended) with hints of like jasmine, bergamot, and a little bit of vanilla. 100% the kind of smell that wraps you up if you come in for a hug.
Taste: Chocolate, specifically the kinds with nuts and caramel, woman has a sweet tooth.
Castiel
Smell: I feel like all angels smell at least a little like parma violets, or some kind of sweet and subtle floral smell, be especially Cas. On top of that, he’d have like other earthy scentes, like honey, patchouli, maybe a bit of amber.
Taste: Coffee, always coffee. When human/when he eats; grape jelly, and honey.
Jack
Smell: Like Cas he has the sort of clean, floral scent to him. I also think he would smell of peppermint and like a yankee candle version of warm vanilla. He just has a cosy, familiar smell to him.
Taste: Again I think minty, additionally like white chocolate and rose/flora flavours.
Bobby
Smell: Like old books, burnt candle wicks, motor oils, and nose hair singing whisky.
Taste: More than anyone else on this list (including Crowley) Bobby tastes like whisky. Not the good stiff though, that’s only for special occasions. He taste like Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.
Crowley
Smell: Like a bonfire!!! Smokey, warm, woody, with a hint of burnt sugar.
Taste: 100% Whisky, and dark chocolate.
Charlie
Smell: Charlie smells like she just stepped out of a fantasy book, like wildflowers, and peppercorn. Like strawberry and blackcurrant wine.
Taste: Like a vegan alternative to Nutella, creamy, chocolatey, nutty.
Meg
Smell: Surprisingly soft and clean. Milky, with almond and peach. Just a hint of leather and cedarwood underneath.
Taste: Salty and sweet, anise: like a strawberry liquorice.
Ruby
Smell: Like cedarwood, ginger, and pink pepper. Pleasant but sharp, and strong. Like it pulls you in from across the room.
Taste: Bold and sweet like cabernet sauvignon, starkly contrasted by pepperoni and cheesy pasta.
Lucifer
Smell: Similar to Jack, in that he smells clean and minty. However, his is sharper, harsher. There is lime, and moss, and mahogany.
Taste: Like pure Moroccan mint, with that like sweet sourness you get on things like a tangfastics or a sourpatch kid. Like if you’re not expecting it, or you taste it for to long it will make you squirm.
Gabriel
Smell: Like walking into the kitchen of a bakery just before opening and they’re prepping everything. Mocha, malted sugar, rich caramel, creamy vanilla.
Taste: All of the above again! Just so sweet and creamy. Like a spoonful of sugar.
Raphael
Smell: Very similar to Cas, floral, but less earthy, and more sterile. Like aloe vera and antiseptic.
Taste: Again, very clean. He has a flavour the way cucumber has flavour? Refreshing, clean, but not notable.
Michael/Adam 😍
Smell: Kind of like the ocean, meets the forrest. Musk, white lilies, salt, collided with pine, sandalwood, and cedar. Cold, but familiar, ya know?
Taste: Hear me out: Fruit loops, and Dr Pepper. Like Michael has little say over what they eat, that’s all on Adam. And after the initial, ‘I haven’t eaten in 1200 years, I’m gonna eat everything I craved’ has worn off. He’s just like, a normal guy (who does not need to eat because he shares his body with an immortal angel). So, I can see him mostly reaching for snacks that make him feel good, that remind him of his mum, or his childhood, something comforting; like sugary cereals and fizzy drinks. I love them, I will take no criticism.
Rowena
Smell: Like an apothecary. Rich and indulgent. Very aromatic with lots of deep woody tones, sweet cherry, dark rose and other florally scents.
Taste: Like a bottle of mataro, or Nebbiolo wine. Spice, cherry, plum, smoke. She both smells and tastes intoxicatingly expensive.
Chuck
Smell: Kind of musky, cottony, leafy. I don’t really imagine him smelling too strongly of anything.
Taste: Summary and tart, like a sea breeze cocktail. (Grapefruit, cranberry, lime – an acquired taste)
Amara
Smell: Similar to Chuck, I sort of envision an absence of smell. Maybe just hints of amber, sandalwood, and a musky citrusy scent.
Taste: Like a white dessert whine, like Riesling. Dry but sweet. Honey, and pears.
Billie
Smell: Bergamot, rose, silk, and cocoa. Inviting and pleasant, but with an undertone of darkness.
Taste: Very similar to scent, sweet and warm but with an aftertaste of something bitter; blackcurrant and dark chocolate
Benny
Smell: Robust (Copper, ginger, tobacco,) but enticing (amber, cardamom, cinnamon).
Taste: I mean, I have tried really had to not add blood to any of the previous entries, but Benny undeniably tastes like blood.
Kevin
Smell: Not good. Pre-prophethood, not so much; I imagine like mint, green tea, jasmine, the kind of smell you would expects from a reasonably priced aftershave. During prophethood, the aftershave is long forgotten; its more fried chicken, old paper, and forgetting to shower for 9 days.
Taste: Like redbull, chexmix, and mouthwash.
Eileen
Smell: Like peaches, and roses, rich chocolate, and strong coffee.
Taste: Chocolate and coffee again, but hints of sparkly summer fruits.
Ketch
Smell: Like high end British aftershaves only the royal family know off, something with notes of fig, and oud, and other pretentious smells. The small of cigar smoke, and leather follow him around too.
Taste: Like earl grey tea, and dry gin.
Balthazar
Smell: Kind of like ketch, some high end and expensive (if he actually had to pay for it). But woodsier, and fresh. He would also have that hidden undertone of violet.
Taste: Creamy and hazelnutty, but there’s a constant aftertastes alcohol, and something metallic to him, no matter what comes first.

How did Elvis took care of his awesome hair? 🚿🍃
Plus, a quick overview on one of the King's hairdressers and Memphis Mafia man, Larry Geller: How somewhat he was the friend Elvis needed and how Elvis' over-controlling inner circle banned Geller from their surroundings for a while.
I was actually looking if I could find Elvis' haircut name - precisely the type of haircut he had on the '68 Comeback Special and "Charro!" (1968), since I'm a girl and I have zero idea about the names for male haircuts but I just love that haircut he had so much I wanted to talk about it... anyway. But I found an article about Elvis' hair care routine and that sounds very interesting to me, so it might be something you wanna know too.
This is told by Larry Geller, so this means this was Elvis' hair routine starting from mid 60's on, precisely from 1964 to 1967, and possibly also from late 1972 to 1977 *, periods in which Larry was responsible for taking care of the King's hair.
Geller, who will be launching his own line of organic hair products later this year, tested out some of his first custom mixes on Elvis. “I used to go to the health food store and get a benign base shampoo and get some vitamin capsules and pour 99 percent pure aloe vera and other herbs into it, and shake it up,” Geller tells Yahoo Beauty. “That’s what I used on Elvis’ hair. He said to me, right from the get-go, ‘You can do whatever you want with my hair, but one thing — make sure I keep it!’” Source: Yahoo Beauty: Elvis Presley’s Hairstylist Spills the King’s Secrets by Lilit Marcus. The article was shared on a Graceland's website on January 28, 2014.
Elvis, you're the best, man. LOL. Just that comment is worth this entire post. It made me laugh. But the article goes on.
Then there was the daily routine. “I shampooed his hair regularly, usually every day. I would massage his scalp for a few minutes, then brush his hair at least 50 or 60 strokes. I was focused on long-term health of his hair, which was so important,” Geller explains. He also used products like vitamin E and jojoba oil to style Elvis’ hair and replace conditioner. Hairspray was used to set it, with Geller alternating multiple brands so that none of them would dry out Elvis’ coif too much. As for its color, Geller dyed Elvis’ hair every two to three weeks with a L’Oreal formula. What did the two men discuss during all that grooming? Religion, philosophy, books, life, and anything else you can think of. “Elvis had everything,” says Geller. “He was an extraordinary human being. He had the greatest eyes, the greatest voice, fans galore. He also had great hair.”
Elvis in "Frankie and Johnny" and "Spinout", both 1966 movies.
Larry Geller styled Elvis’ hair for: "Roustabout" (1964), Girl Happy (1965), Tickle Me (1965), Harum Scarum (1965), Frankie and Johnny (1966), Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966), Spinout (1966), Easy Come, Easy Go (1967), Double Trouble (1967), and Clambake (1967). Geller prepared Elvis’ hair for the last time for his funeral in August, 1977.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elvis' hair must have been so good smelling and soft. Washed every day, organic products to make it smooth and shiny as it was. 🫠🥹
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, if you want to understand why there's a pause in Larry's association with Elvis, here it is:
LARRY GELLER QUITS WORKING FOR ELVIS IN 1967: INDIRECTLY CAUSED BY ELVIS' HEAD INJURY POSTPONING THE FILMING FOR 'CLAMBAKE'.
On March 9, 1967, Elvis was staying in him home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, and one incident (Elvis tripped over a TV cord in his bathroom and banged his head against a porcelain bathtub) caused the beginning of the production for the movie "Clambake", for which he was preparing to, to be postponed. Colonel Parker was fuming when he heard about the need for Elvis to take a couple of weeks of resting to recover from the mild concussion he had. It was a critical moment in Elvis' life. By the time the filming begun, Elvis even put up some weight from his normal 170 lb (77 kg) to 200 lb (91 kg) — I said it before, whenever this happened to Elvis' body it was because he was extremely distressed. He was an emotional eater.
Getting back to the accident, Parker even thought Elvis did it on purpose not to fulfill his Hollywood commitment since Presley clearly was not happy about his movies anymore, something Parker somehow blamed it on Elvis' spiritual quest. He pulled some strings to manipulate Elvis to remove Larry Geller from his inner circle by saying to him that all that spiritual thing was getting too much into his head, distracting him from his business obligations. If not enough Parker said to Presley that Larry Geller was brainwashing him because of some personal agenda he must have had in his mind — it's mentioned by someone, somewhere (i'm sorry, I'm not gonna remember where I've read it now) that Geller was planning on using Elvis' money to open a religious study center or something like that).
Basically, Parker thought Larry was a threat because if Elvis decided in throwing his career away, like some say he was by becoming a preacher, Parker would lose his most profitable and only client. Consequently all the religion and spiritual "shit" (as they called) that Larry Geller had put inside the King's head (as they thought), presenting him with many books and having deep conversations for hours with Elvis about several religious and spiritual subjects but not exclusively that, they also talked about meditation and self improvement as a human beings, astrology and so on, all of that was threatening Parker's plans over Elvis.
But Parker didn't make it on his own. Even Priscilla says in her memoir book that Elvis was obsessively reading non-stop and wanting to share his learning with everybody else, but his friends and herself didn't care about none of this self-improvement and religious talk. His inner circle even looked at Presley's spiritual quest as somewhat annoying, including Priscilla. Their thoughts about Larry Geller were something like "Larry changed his mind. Elvis is not spending time with us as he used to." Ugh!
Nobody actually told Larry to leave, tho, and Elvis wouldn't do such thing if he didn't have a good reason to - until this point Larry was a confidant to him, one of the only people he could talk about life and wonder what was God's plan for him, his true life mission, something Elvis would never cease trying to understand. However, Elvis' inner circle and Colonel Parker begun making Geller feel uncomfortable, unwelcome among the group, while they took Elvis' attention back to them, practically forcing Geller to decide to finally leave and go away for good, and he did it. But it was not something definite.
Many things happened in Elvis' life since Larry Geller and him went different ways but by August 1972, tho, Geller got back in contact in Elvis when he attended one of Presley's concerts in Las Vegas, and from then on Larry begins working for Elvis again, till the end of the King's life in 1977.

Sometimes we don’t pay much attention to caring for our skin, even though it’s the largest organ in the body. Skin suffers from dryness due to winter weather, hot showers and vigorous scrubbing with a towel when we dry ourselves.
You don’t have to head out to buy expensive lotions and potions to rehydrate your skin – your kitchen may already contain all the ingredients you need. Natural remedies are also better for your skin, as they don’t contain all the extra chemicals that manufactured skin creams have in them.
Here are 10 simple and all-natural remedies for dry skin:
1. Olive Oil Cleanser
Olive oil works as a natural cleanser and moisturizer. All you need to do is rub the oil on your skin and drape a warm, damp cloth over your face until it cools. Wipe away any excess oil and you’re done. Olive oil is a good choice for a skin cleanser because it doesn’t strip away your skin’s natural oils.
2. Rich Avocado Mask
The creamy richness of avocado works well to soothe dry skin. We suggest pureeing half an avocado and mixing it with a teaspoon of olive oil. If your skin is very dry, add a tablespoon of honey too. Apply the mask and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. For an extra moisture boost, apply your regular moisturizer after you have removed the mask.
3. Olive Oil and Sugar Scrub
This combination makes a great exfoliating scrub with moisturizing benefits. Mix half a cup of sugar with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. You can also add an essential oil, such as lavender, to give a soothing fragrance.
Rub the mixed ingredients into your skin, and then wash off. Apply a moisturizer to double up on the benefits of exfoliated skin.
4. Oatmeal Bath Soak
Add a cup of oatmeal to a warm bath, and enjoy the benefits of rehydrated skin. The oat product has skin-soothing properties, and it also helps your skin to retain moisture from the water.
5. Homemade Oatmeal Honey Mask
Oatmeal also makes a good mask or exfoliator. Mix 2 tablespoons of oats with a tablespoon of honey and a dash of water. Gently warm the mixture, then rub it onto your skin. It can be used as an exfoliator and washed off straight away, or you can leave it on for around 15 to 20 minutes as a hydrating mask.
6. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil isn’t just useful in the kitchen – use it as a moisturizing cream at bedtime. Because it is solid at room temperature, it can be applied easily. If you have chapped hands and feet, apply the oil, then cover with thick socks or non-latex gloves.
7. Add Oil to Your Bath
Natural oils such as olive, coconut, argan and avocado oil can be used as a bath soak to moisturize skin and protect the natural skin barrier, which is often stripped away by washing with drying soaps that remove the natural oils from the skin.
Add a few tablespoons of oil under running bath water. If you don’t fancy scrubbing the oil slick off the bath after you’ve finished, rub a small amount of oil to your skin after your bath instead.
8. Milk Compresses
Milk has natural anti-inflammatory properties, and it contains lactic acid, which works as a mild, natural exfoliant. Apply milk compresses to your skin for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. It’s great for irritated, itchy skin too, but lactic acid can sting cracked skin, so use with caution. Apply milk by soaking a washcloth in a bowl of cold milk and then pressing it against your driest, itchiest spots for a few minutes.
9. Fruit Enzyme Cleanser or Exfoliant
Fruit enzymes can really help your skin during cold weather. The alpha-hydroxy acids exfoliate the top layer of dull, dead skin cells on the face and body.
Use a pineapple, pumpkin or papaya fruit-enzyme face mask twice a week for bright skin.
10. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera gel isn’t just for treating sunburn. It can help your skin during the winter months by reducing redness and irritation due to dryness.
Some people can develop allergic contact dermatitis from aloe, so do a patch test first before applying it to a big area of skin.

Get glowing skin with these top 5 natural ingredients
Looking for a way to give your skin a healthy, natural glow? Look no further than your organic skincare products! The beauty industry is buzzing with the benefits of using natural ingredients, and for good reason. These ingredients can nourish, hydrate, and protect your skin in a way that synthetic ingredients simply cannot. Here are the top 5 natural ingredients you should look for in your organic skincare products.
Aloe vera:
This succulent plant is a powerhouse of skin benefits. It's known for its soothing, hydrating, and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great choice for anyone with dry, irritated, or sensitive skin. Look for products that contain a high concentration of aloe vera, such as a moisturizer or a face mask. To use, simply apply the product to your skin and let it absorb for a few minutes before rinsing off.
Jojoba oil:
Unlike many other oils, jojoba oil is very similar to the natural oils produced by our skin. This makes it a great choice for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin, as it can help regulate oil production without clogging pores. Jojoba oil is also very gentle on the skin and can be used as a standalone moisturizer or added to your existing moisturizer for an extra boost of hydration.
Tea tree oil:
This essential oil is known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it a great choice for anyone with acne or other skin blemishes. Tea tree oil can be added to a facial toner or used as a spot treatment to help fight breakouts. It's important to note that tea tree oil should be used in small concentrations and diluted with a carrier oil, as it can be irritating to the skin in its pure form.
Rosehip oil:
This oil is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and fatty acids that nourish and repair the skin. It's particularly effective at reducing the appearance of scars and fine lines, making it a great choice for anyone with aging skin. Look for a serum or face oil that contains rosehip oil and apply it to your skin after cleansing and toning.
Green tea extract:
This powerful antioxidant is known for its ability to protect the skin from free radicals and other environmental stressors. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great choice for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Look for a facial mist or serum that contains green tea extract and use it before applying your moisturizer to give your skin an extra boost of protection.
Incorporating natural ingredients into your skincare routine can be a great way to give your skin the TLC it deserves. However, it's important to remember that natural ingredients may not work for everyone, and it's always a good idea to patch test new products and consult with a dermatologist if you have any concerns. With these top 5 natural ingredients, you'll be well on your way to achieving healthy, glowing skin.

LOOKING FOR A REMEDY FOR STRETCH MARKS; TRY OUT KERALA NATURALS COCONUT OIL AND ALOE VERA GEL
A stretch mark is a type of scar that develops when our skin stretches or shrinks quickly. The abrupt change causes the collagen and elastin, which support our skin, to rupture.
Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil has been renowned for its potential effectiveness in minimizing the appearance of stretch marks. Its natural properties make it a popular choice for those seeking a non-invasive remedy. The rich emollient nature of coconut oil moisturizes and nourishes the skin, aiding in maintaining its elasticity and suppleness.
Coconut oil is a medium chain fatty acid comprised of free fatty acids, including lauric acid and capric acid. It has antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Coconut oil absorbs easily into skin, where it may prevent free radical damage. It may also improve the quality and overall appearance of dry, damaged skin.
When massaged onto the skin regularly, coconut oil’s inherent components promote improved circulation and collagen production. These factors contribute to the skin’s ability to heal and regenerate, which can gradually lead to the fading of stretch marks over time.
It’s important to note that consistency is key when using coconut oil for stretch marks. Incorporating it into your skincare routine and gently massaging it onto the affected areas can lead to more noticeable results. Over time, the skin may appear smoother and more even-toned, and the texture of the stretch marks might become less pronounced.
Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce healing time for existing stretch marks. Its ability to hydrate skin deeply may also help reduce the itching associated with stretch marks.
Moisturizes Skin: Coconut oil actively moisturizes and hydrates the skin, making it an excellent choice for dry and flaky skin.
Natural Emollient: It is a natural emollient, actively softening the skin and leaving it feeling smooth and supple.
Promotes Healing: Coconut oil actively promotes the healing of minor cuts, bruises, and skin irritations, thanks to its antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Hair Care: It is actively used in hair care as a conditioner, providing shine, and reducing frizz.
Supports Skin Health: The active antioxidants in coconut oil can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Sunscreen: Coconut oil has a low SPF and can actively provide some protection against the harmful effects of the sun.
Cooking: It is actively used in cooking for its high smoke point and unique flavor, making it a versatile culinary ingredient.
Weight Management: Some believe that consuming coconut oil actively aids in weight management due to its unique fatty acid composition.
Oral Health: Oil pulling with coconut oil is a practice actively believed to improve oral hygiene by reducing harmful bacteria in the mouth.
Antifungal and Antimicrobial: Coconut oil’s active compounds can combat fungal infections and harmful microorganisms when applied topically.
Stretch Marks: It actively helps in minimizing the appearance of stretch marks by moisturizing and promoting skin elasticity.
Anti-Inflammatory: The active components in coconut oil can reduce inflammation when applied to the skin.
Non-Invasive: It is a non-invasive, natural remedy suitable for various skincare and health applications.
Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera, renowned for its skin-nourishing properties, actively aids in the reduction of stretch marks. This natural wonder actively hydrates and revitalizes the skin. Its gel consistency actively penetrates deep into the skin, replenishing moisture, and actively promoting skin health. Additionally, aloe vera actively stimulates collagen production, crucial for maintaining skin elasticity, actively working to reduce the prominence of stretch marks over time. Its anti-inflammatory properties actively calm irritated skin, actively decreasing the redness and visibility of stretch marks.
Moreover, aloe vera actively expedites the skin’s natural healing process, actively fading stretch marks and promoting the active growth of new, healthy skin cells. Its natural enzymes actively exfoliate the skin, actively removing dead cells and promoting the active turnover of new skin cells, gradually reducing the appearance of stretch marks. Furthermore, aloe vera’s soothing and cooling effect actively provides relief from any discomfort linked to stretch marks, such as itching or burning. As an active, non-invasive option suitable for most skin types, incorporating aloe vera into your skincare routine can actively contribute to the active reduction of stretch marks, with consistent application and patience being key to achieving optimal results.
Hydrates and Nourishes: Aloe vera actively hydrates the skin and provides essential nutrients. Its gel-like consistency penetrates the skin deeply, replenishing moisture and supporting overall skin health.
Collagen Production: Aloe vera actively stimulates collagen production in the skin. Collagen is crucial for maintaining skin elasticity, which can help reduce the prominence of stretch marks over time.
Anti-Inflammatory: The active compounds in aloe vera possess anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm irritated skin. Reducing inflammation can make stretch marks appear less red and noticeable.
Healing and Regeneration: Aloe vera actively accelerates the skin’s natural healing process. This can aid in fading stretch marks and promoting the growth of new, healthy skin cells.
Natural Exfoliation: Aloe vera contains natural enzymes that actively exfoliate the skin, removing dead cells and promoting the turnover of new skin cells. This can gradually reduce the visibility of stretch marks.
Soothing and Cooling: Aloe vera actively soothes and cools the skin, providing relief from any discomfort associated with stretch marks, such as itching or burning.
Safe and Non-Invasive: Using aloe vera for stretch marks is a safe and non-invasive option, making it suitable for most skin types

Fibromyalgia hair care, hair loss prevention edition:
I’ve struggled with hair loss for years, long before receiving my diagnosis. For a long time I thought it was purely due to anxiety, which is definitely a factor. But anyways, over the years I’ve come up with some strategies for preventing hair loss, as well as encouraging new hair growth which is equally important imo. Both stem from having a healthy scalp. I’ll list my tools and products here, as well as my routine for using them properly. My hair is extremely fine, and has so little texture it slips out of hair ties; this almost has a horseshoe effect though where it goes round the bend and has a lot of the same issues as very textured hair in terms of breakage, tangling, etc. so if you have textured hair, some of these techniques and/or products may work for you, but I can’t say for sure.
Tools:
Wide-tooth comb
Scalp massager
Bonnet/head scarf, and/or hair ties
Microfiber cloth
Products:
Bar shampoo (I use JR Liggets)
Deep conditioner (I use Trader Joe’s coconut hair mask)
The Ordinary - Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density
Aloe vera gel, no fragrances or other unnecessary additives (I use Lily of the Desert)
Hair oil (I’m currently using Virtue - Healing Oil bc I got a free sample of it lol, but any kind will do tbh)
Hair mask (I get mine from the Henna Guys, equal parts of their Fenugreek & Reetha Powder to prevent hair loss, and their Brahmi & Bhringraj Powder for hair growth)
Dry shampoo (I have a powdered one also from the Henna Guys for daily use bc it has no unnecessary additives, but I also use a regular aerosol one like Batiste if I’m going out)
Daily Routine:
Every night before bed, start by gently brushing your hair. If your hair is wet at all, use a wide tooth comb to avoid snagging tangles.
Fill a dropper’s worth of the Ordinary serum - squeeze half into your palm, and the other half directly onto the problem areas of your head (I do the crown.) Make sure not to touch the dropper to your skin or hair though, don’t want to contaminate it! Just hover above.
Using your finger of your other hand, apply the serum directly onto any other problem areas (I do my hairline and temples.) Gently rub in where you dripped onto your scalp as well.
Squeeze some aloe into your palm with the serum, and mix them together with the finger of your other hand. Rub your hands together, and apply the mixture evenly throughout your scalp. You can go back in with more aloe too if you want, your hair should be pretty saturated. It might seem like this will make your hair look greasy in the morning, but it’s actually the opposite, it acts kind of like a natural dry shampoo and prevents your scalp from producing unnecessary oil. (I discovered this by accident when I had a scalp sunburn, so it’s also great to do if you’ve been out in the sun at all lol.)
Put a few drops of hair oil into your palm. Rub your hands together, and smooth it into the length of your hair in downward strokes, but starting at the bottom and reaching closer too your scalp each time. Run any remnants through the hair at your scalp, a little will keep it healthy but a lot will make it greasy here.
Use the scalp massager all over your head, gently; this should feel really nice. Focus on problem scalp areas, as well as pressure points if you get frequent headaches (bonus for helping with that too lol.)
Put on your powdered dry shampoo, while your hair is still “damp” from the aloe. Brush your hair from scalp to tip with the wide tooth comb until you feel like everything is fairly evenly distributed.
Put your hair up in a clippy or something while you go about the rest of your nighttime routine (I do hair care > journaling > night meds > light yoga > teeth > skincare > bed.)
At bedtime, protect your hair with a bonnet or headscarf, should be silk or satin. Bonnets have been a huge thing in the Black community for ages, but really everyone (especially people with delicate hair of any kind) should get into them! They prevent your hair from getting pulled on by the friction that’s naturally created between your head and pillow while you sleep. It also keeps all those products we just applied on your head all night instead of your pillow. You’ll also notice it’s better for your skin; it keeps the hair products and skin products separate so they both stay clean. You’ll notice less hair loss AND fewer breakouts.
If you really don’t want to wear a bonnet or scarf, or if you’re staying over somewhere etc, the next best option is to put your hair in one or two braids. This at least does some work to prevent pulling and keep it off your face.
Weekly Routine:
Before washing, use a hair mask. This is a great chance to let products really soak into your scalp and hair shafts. The ones I use are all natural, traditional ingredients. Your hair will be softer, stronger, and shinier, but not from any residue left behind, just because it’s healthier.
I only wash my hair once a week, maybe twice if I’m going somewhere. The less you can wash your hair, the better. There is a transition period, but your hair really does adjust to not being washed as often. It’s important for scalp health not to be over-washed because it’ll start producing an excess of oil, and then you’ll just have to keep washing it, which keeps creating stress on your hair and pulling more out. A shampoo bar is a really easy and effective way to get the right amount of shampoo right where you need it; just rub it directly on your head and lather up. (The JR Liggets bar also has very limited ingredients, all natural, and as a bonus is sustainable bc no plastic.) Once you work the shampoo through your scalp and down to your ends with your fingers, grab your same scalp massager and use it too. (Be careful not to cause tangles though! Tiny gentle circular movements.)
Since you’re not conditioning your hair as often, you should use a deeper conditioner and leave it on for as long as the packaging says.
When you’re out of the shower, carefully use the wide tooth comb. Avoid products like detanglers, because they leave a residue on your hair and you’ll just end up having to wash it more often again. You shouldn’t need them if you deep conditioned. To dry your hair, gently scrunch it with the microfiber cloth. Don’t rub, we don’t want friction, but the microfiber will be able to absorb a lot of water without damaging your hair. From here, you can air dry it or put it into rollers if you want to add a natural curl/style. Avoid hair dryers and curling/straightening irons as much as possible; unfortunately heat is one of the worst things for hair and scalp health.
Other Notes:
When you’re outside, especially in summer, wear a hat as much as you can! Fibromyalgia and other chronic conditions can make you extremely sensitive to sun exposure, and hair isn’t enough to stop the UV rays. Your scalp with be a lot healthier if you protect it from the sun as often as you can. You can also use a parasol etc.
Try to avoid adding other styling products, because again you’ll just end up having to wash more often. But the aloe can be used as a natural gel, and the dry shampoo can be used as a volumizer.
Limit additives in your products as much as you can; all the specific ones I’ve listed here are a good start. The fewer ingredients, the fewer chances there are that you’ll have a bad reaction which could lead to a flare up.
Once again, I can only say for certain that these tips work on my specific hair type (fine, delicate, no texture,) and since every person is different some amount of trial and error will be involved to figure out what works best for you. But never give up, you deserve to put energy into having healthy and beautiful hair. I wish someone had told me any of this instead of spending years trying to figure it out alone, so I hope maybe someone can read this and save themselves some trouble lol. Remember, patience and consistency are key. It does take time and energy, but if you can spare a little for yourself each day or as often as possible, it’ll save you effort in the long run. Having a routine in general is very beneficial to your mental health, which makes you less stressed/anxious, which is already helping your hair too <3
